Rigoletto Restaurant located on the Bicester Road at Middleton Stoney is to undergo a major refurbishment and redesign of its dining experience.
A new vaulted roof is to be constructed over the bar and seating area, and the main dining room roof is to be raised to create a more spatial ambience. Rigoletto’s feature orangery dining room is to have a new fully glazed roof to replace existing polycarbonate panels.
Other improvements proposed are new bigger ladies and gents toilet facilities, and a fully accessible toilet facility to cater for all needs.
At the entrance to the grounds patrons will be greeted by a new walled access way with inset lighting and signage. The short drive to the restaurant is an experience in itself, looking out over open countryside you will follow a winding road with ground wash lighting pointing the way toward a wooden bridge beautifully illuminated on either side, and then continuing on along the lit road to the car park which, sits immediately to the front of the restaurant.
On approaching the restaurant diners will be greeted by a new portico with stone columns either side set in front of the new vaulted entrance area. Once inside you will be greeted by a new comfy seating arrangement where you can enjoy pre-dinner drinks and after dinner coffee or perhaps something more refreshing!
The second phase of the refurbishment will include new outside dining terraces looking out over the beautiful grounds. Check out the links below to view drawings showing some of the proposed improvements.
